On this episode, we see that Peter becomes the target of sexual lust by his boss Angela at the Pawtucket Brewery. Peter continually refuses to accept her feelings and also tries to avoid the lady. Ultimately, Angela fires Peter. She then tries to commit suicide and Peter is forced to accept her ingrained sexual wishes.

Peter-assment has many cultural references and the episode manages to get mixed response from the viewers and critics.   6.65 million viewers, as per the Nielsen ratings, watched the original airing of the episode. In addition to the main star cast of Family Guy, there were several guest stars as well namely Max Burkholder, Richard Dreyfuss, Jim Goldenburg, Jack Samson and Steve Urquilla etc. Also, the episode has recurring guest voice actors as well.

The girl has Down syndrome and when Chris Griffin asks her about her family, she replies, ““My dad’s an accountant, and my mom is the former governor of Alaska”.  Sarah Palin says that it’s an attack on the disability of her son and the creators have pointed out their family.  Sarah first turned to Facebook, a popular social media-networking site to express her fretfulness. Later, she talked about the same on an interview on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’.

Sarah Palin’s daughter also expresses her anger “insults hurt too much for us to remain silent. If the writers of a particularly pathetic cartoon show thought they were being clever in mocking my brother and my family yesterday, they failed. All they proved is that they’re heartless jerks”.
